Ryan is very popular on boys and Makena literally means "Son of Ken" - both are far too masculine for a young beautiful girl and a well-respected female adult. I also think the boy names on girls thing is a dying fad that will just age your daughter later in life. It will also cause confusion and aggravation as she constantly will have to correct people on her gender.

Macy Violet is beautiful, feminine, sweet and spunky! I think its perfect!

I agree with most of what Poster 1 said except that I don’t think Macy is particularly feminine sounding either. I’d combine your middle names. Violet Kate or Kate Violet.

I agree with poster 1 and 2. These names were meant to be edgy but they’ve seen their day and are now boring. Try bringing a vintage name out of obscurity. That’s the way to stand out these days. I have friends with daughters named Wendy and Shirley! Talk about bold!

You could also spell Macy as Maci if you wanted to be a little different. Macy Violet is a beautiful name though
