Alicia vs. Aleesia vs. Ah-lee-see-ah
Hey everyone! I love the name Alicia spelled this way as I think it looks the prettiest. But I prefer the ah-LEE-see-ah pronunciation opposed to the ah-lee-sha pronunciation. How should I spell this name? I don’t want my daughter to have to keep on correcting people on how to pronounce her name.... thanks!

I had a childhood friend who pronounced it that way. She spelled it Alicia and was always correcting people.
I would choose Aleesia.

Alyssia is better because it is easier to pronounce her name correctly.

Alecia, or Elisia. You could do Aleesia, but I don’t think it looks as nice as Alecia. I knew an Alecia who pronounced her name A-lee-sha, but usually had to correct people whose first guess was A-lee-see-a (as you like it).
