I prefer Jesse for a boy and Jessie for a girl but overall really like the name for either gender.

I love it, it’s very handsome. My 8 year old has a classmate named Jesse and the name goes great on him.

Jesse is very masculine, as it was used on males historically since Biblical times. Jessie - as a nickname for Jessica or Jessa - is cute, too. I love Jesse for a boy!
