Ruby! It’s a beautiful classic name, no need to tamper with the spelling. Rubie just looks unnatural. Ruby is lovely.

Ruby. Agree with first poster. I give fault to my folks for naming me Khristofher as a kid. I changed it at 18 when I was told I wasn’t getting a job because of how my folks spelled my name...if that was even the right reasoning. Do her a favor and give her the proper spelling without the heartache of living with a misspelled name.

Ruby is correct. Rubie may be mispronounced as well as mispelled. You don’t wantwant your daughter to be called "rubby",do you?

I prefer Ruby because that’s how most everyone will spell it and it just looks correct. Rubie isn’t bad, it’s kind of cute, but it will never be spelled correctly.

Ruby just looks correct... It’s a beautiful name and the spelling is perfect. There are certain classic names that you just can’t tamper with the spelling... For example Charlotte to Sharlott. Rubie just looks strange, but Ruby is a lovely name.

If you are going to ask you little red gem to study hard and do well on spelling tests, shouldn’t you set a good example in the spelling of her name? Just my two cents. Good luck! :0)
