Cassandra vs. Cassidy vs. Cassie
I love the name Cassie, however, I’m not sure if it’s a name that can stand on its own or if it’s just a nickname. Does it age well? Or should I name her Cassandra or Cassidy and call her Cassie for short? Also, is there any other names that Cassie could be a nickname for? Thanks for any help.

Cassandra is gorgeous! Cassidy I like on a boy. Cassie could probably age well enough, but I’m usually a fan of using a longer form even if you’ll always call her by her nickname, just so she has more options if she wants. GL!

My daughter is name cassahn (cass arn ) but just cassie can be a stand alone name as you. Can still shorten it as cass as a nickname :-D

All the "Cass" names have bad meanings. Cassandra means ’entangler of men/shining upon man,’ Cassia means ’empty, vain,’ etc. HOWEVER, I have a cousin named Acacia (ah-KAY-sha or ah-KAY-see-ah), and it is honestly one of the most beautiful names I have ever heard. Would you consider Acacia?

I happen to be a girl named Cassidy and happen to think its a great name! I feel like it’s unique enough where I don’t have to worry about being confused with others with my name, yet popular enough for people to know how to spell it/pronounce it properly
