Lottie vs. Lotty

Full name will be Charlotte Annabelle Maisling (thoughts?) and we are struggling to choose between Lottie and Lotty. To me Lotty looks more mature and elegant but Lottie is adorable! Which name do you prefer and why? Thanks. -Ada

It’s just s nickname so it doesn’t have to look mature. Lottie is better

I personally don’t have a preference. Lottie looks a little better with Maisling and is the presumed spelling, but Lotty definitely looks more ageless and less cutesy.
Charlotte Annabelle sounds lovely. Good luck. X

I think Annabelle works better as the first name with your last name of Maisling. While Lottie is a cute nickname, I am not a fan of the harsh sounding Charlotte.

I’m Sofia and I have spent my whole life explaining that I’m SOFIA, not SOPHIA. It’s SO ANNOYING! So in my opinion it’s so much easier and better to go for the more common spelling. Lottie is cuter too. Lottie all the way! X

I love Lottie and I love Charlotte but to me it makes no sense nicknaming Charlotte to Lottie. Both two syllables...
How about just Lottie Annabelle Maisling? I personally don’t think Charlotte Maisling works, but Lottie Maisling is nice. Lottie Annabelle is adorable. Charlotte Annabelle flows but doesn’t fit... Charlotte is wise and elegant whereas Annabelle is bouncy and energetic. Lottie Annabelle flows a firs and sounds lovely.

Charlotte Annabelle is so pretty! I personally don’t care for the nickname, but I would spell it Lottie. It looks more complete and girly.

I prefer Lotty, but personally don’t think that lovely Charlotte should be shortened. Charlotte Annabelle is beautiful.

I love Lotty! It looks kind of friendly yet clumsy in a super cute way, very graceful and much more mature, and more relaxed than quite prim Lottie. I’m not a fan of the overly cutesy Lottie. Makes me think of a snob and looks harsh. Lotty seems a bit softer and just overall nicer.
How about Lotta? Always thought that was lovely.
Charlotte Annabelle is so gorgeous, but I would spell it Annabel. Beautiful taste, good luck! X
