NONONONONONONONONONO! As a twin girl myself, I guarantee that this is one of the WORST possible things you could do. You will encourage people to think if twins of sets; make them think they’re actually SUPPOSED to think that way! There are few feelings worse than my twin and me being called the ’same person!’ Don’t encourage such things, just don’t! It’s a horrible thing to do to children!

This is a fun word/name game to play, but please don’t do this to your children. I don’t get why some parents of multiples think they have to do something with the names to "link" them as multiples. Really, believe this mom of triplets, they WILL have a bond, so don’t do silly things with their names. They will be linked. Just find names you love, that you would name your children if they had separate birthdays. It’s OK. Truly.

If not their first names matching perhaps the middle names? It might give them a more individual feel while still honoring their ties to one another.
