Both Alison and Allison are acceptable spellings in the U.S. I think Allison might be a little more common, though. Alyssa is also a nice name.

Alexis and Alisha are also common names if you are wanting the nickname to be Ally.

Thank you yes we want her nn to be Ali/Ally we are naming her after family (Alistair)
