Honora vs. alternate vs. spelling

Hi everyone, I’m trying to find an alternate spelling for Honora --with the h silent and the stress on the second syllable (on OR ah). People tend topronounce it with the stress on the first syllable, like the word honor. Any ideas? Thanks!

Annora is an authentic girls’ name that’s a variation of Honora.

People pronounce Honora with the stress on the first syllable? I’ve never heard that. I’d still keep the Honor a spelling since it conveys the meaning the best. But previous posters are correct; Annora is a traditional, well known variant. Good luck! :0)

Onora. Good name idea. I have a friend named Oona and neighbor’s daughter named Anya. Both Irish decent. Good luck!
