I saw this name on a post and I was wondering how you would pronounce it. I would pronounce it as Ray-Elle but I put the name in Google translate and it says Ry-elle

This is my daughters name, we pronounce it RAY-EL. More of a fast ending with the Elle part. We are a German background family and it was also my great great great grandmothers name!

I think it could go either way you wanted.

I would definitely say Ray-elle. I would never assume it to be pronounced RY-elle. That just doesn’t seem right to me.
