Eloise vs. Elouise vs. which spelling?
My husband and I both have the same middle name but his is Louis(masculine version) and mine is Louise (feminine version) so we want to name our daughter Eloise but are not sure how to spell it. We want her nickname to be Lou and at first we loved the Eloise spelling but recently we have really begun to love Elouise as the nickname Lou fits a bit better. Which one do you like better and why?

Louisa is pretty, imo. Otherwise, I have to vote for Eloise -- Elouise just looks odd. Good luck!
