P.S. If you only see one Cary Grant movie (for inspiration) check out "His Girl Friday." A youtube clip will do. :0)
Carey I’ve only seen as a surname, Cary as in actors Elwes and Grant, is the masculine name, uncommon but not unheard of

I’ve seen-- not frequently, though-- both Cary or Kerry for boys.

Carey makes me think of Drew Carey but I don’t think that’s a bad thing because it definitely makes it feel like it belongs on a boy.

Carey was Rex Harrison’s middle name. I really like it with this spelling for a boy. I think Kerry looks more feminine and Cary looks incomplete, but that’s just me. If you love it, use it on your son. Good luck!

To me, whatever spelling it is seems a bit too feminine but I would choose Cary. How about Gary or Keiran (means little dark one in Irish),

My name is Carey. I was given that name at birth. To be honest, I have hated it my whole life.
To the point that I assumed a nick name when I went to college and always introduce myself as such.
Generally speaking, only family and work associates with whom I have no personal friendship refer to me as "Carey" since they only know the name listed in the directory.

I’m a huge Old Hollywood fan. And Mr. Grant was one of my favorites. Carey looks more like a surname to me, which is fine. It’s just not the vibe I’m after.
Cary can also be a nickname for Charles, if you want / need options. Good luck! :0)
