Yes Anne Catherine vs. No Anne Catherine
Well, I think I’m close to coming to terms with a name. I want to name my daughter Anne Catherine. That’s what she would go by, like a double name. Do you think it’s necessary to have another middle name since she will have 2 firsts? I like that idea but I’m afraid that would create issues with monagramming if she ever wanted something to be embroidered in her initials. What do you think? Also, would it better to hyphenate it (Anne-Catherine) or leave it as it? Or do you just not like the name? Other names I like are: Grace, Eleanor, Sinclaire, Melissa, Elizabeth, Willow, Anna, Catherine and Gemma, so you can make a combo out of those (but I am partial to double names). Thanks!

I do slightly prefer Anna Catherine or Gemma Catherine, but I don’t think another middle is necessary at all!

I think Anna Catherine flows a little better. I don’t think you need another name beyond that...I think it’s beautiful just like that.

Annie Catherine would be much prettier, i think it’s too long as a first name though, people would just end up calling her Anne anyway even if you hyphenated it because it’s so long, but if you want to give her another name i think it would be fine, Gracie-Anna or Melissa-Grace would be cute, not too long GL

I love the name Anne Catherine (actually I’m partial to the spelling Ann Kathryn), but it’s still a great name! I don’t think you need another mn, but if you chose to have one, you can use a family name. I was given 5 names on my birth certificate, but I only used first middle and last when using my initials or monogramming anything, so it shouldn’t be too confusing if you want to do that.
