I personally love Griffin on a girl, I’d suggest a really feminine middle name. And don’t listen to how it’s a boy name, I might name my daughter Harrison/Harrisyn and people on here are telling me no cause it’s a boy name, but I love it.

Please reconsider. Kids can be cruel to each other. And kids also grow up. Can you see a 60 year old lady introducing herself as Griffin Smith?

Though I doubt that would happen because she’d have found a nickname for herself long before that. But my point is that this child will grow up to be an adult. Name her accordingly.

Griffin is a boy’s name so perhaps you could save it for a future son. Just remember that your daughter is the one who has to wear the name, not you. Would you be happy if your own name was Griffin? If so, no problem but if not then don’t use it.

If you love griffin I would personally suggest making it her middle name. If you’re set on it I would name her griffin grace so she can go by Gigi

My brother’s best friend’s name is Griffin, and no one’s ever judged her negatively or made fun of her for it, so I don’t see where all the hateful comments are coming from. I love the name Griffin for a girl, and I think personally I’d go with something like these: Griffin Alexandra
