Philippa/Pippa Frances vs. Celerie/Cece Frances
Thank you for voting. We adore Pippa, are so-so about Philippa as people struggle with the pronunciation. Philip and Francis are patriarchs in our family so the names are valued. Celerie is named after a designer we adore. We keep coming back to it and adore that it’s different but lends itself to a sweet little nickname and super classic middle - which she can always elect to go by.

Thanks for the suggestions! We actually don’t mind that it evokes celery the food. Not dissimilar to the names Plum, Olive or Brie. Or flowers such as Daisy, Rose, Lily...

Love Philippa/Pippa! Also love the nickname Cece, but am not a fan of Celerie as a formal name. It sounds made up to me whereas Philippa is a classic name with history with a spunky nickname. I think Cecily is a very similar, but much better choice.

Thanks. Cornelia with a nickname of Celerie is another option we are open to. However, I feel like if you love a name just go for it.

I like Cornelia (it has the same charm as Philippa to me) as well, but would probably still favor Philippa/Pippa. I really love this name and feel like it is underused where I live so I would love meeting a little Philippa/Pippa.
