Maybe it was when she was young but by now it’s really popular and a normal decent name, stripper names nowadays are stuff like Precious and Heaven, names that are so over the top and yet you find kids running around named that. If that’s the name you like the most by the time she’s born then stick to it. I have a friend named that and no one makes any comments about it. Your mom will get used to it eventually after she is born.

When I think stripper I think of Candi, Amber, and Brandi. I really like Jasmine and don’t think it is at all!
Actually my mom said something similar, haha. When I had my daughter it was between Jacy and Jasmine and she said they were "white trash" names. But I like them both! haha!

There’s no such thing as a stripper name in my opinion, but Jasmine definitely isn’t one when it’s spelled correctly. Jazzmynne isn’t very classy, but Jasmine is a lovely botanical name.

Also, I truly hate the "stripper name" thing-- honestly, don’t people *know* any strippers? Many are very nice people and have all sorts of names, both personal and professional, just like everyone else.

Strippers choose stage names.
Common ones include Heaven, Angel, Sapphire, etc.
