I pronounce it Made-LYN, and I can confirm that most people do, too, as my name IS Madeleine! It is hardly ever mispronounced- I’d say 98% of the time, people get it right.
I live in Georgia.

In my opinion, Madelyn looks far too trendy, esp. with all the "lyn" names right now. Madeline is typically pronounced Made-LINE. So I would definitely go with Madeleine.

Madeleine and Madeline are pronounced Mad-eh-LINE. The spellings are grammatically correct for that pronunciation.
Mad-eh-LYNN I’ve seen spelled Madelyn and Madilyn(n)

Madeleine is definitely pronounced with the -lynn ending. I’ve known quite a few with this spelling and they’ve never had any issues with mispronunciation. It’s a lovely name.

My name is Madeleine, and because it’s the French spelling, the correct pronunciation is -Lynn. I’d advise not sacrificing the classic spelling for the pronunciation thing. I haven’t had a problem - and if there is uncertainty, people usually ask to clarify. Not a big deal. :)

I pronounce it the proper French way which is Mad-lehn, not line or lyn which are both mispronunciations.
