Middle Names vs. For Maude?

We have officially decided that our daughter’s first name will be Maude! We have a 7 year old son named Atticus Jaimen and a 3 year old son named Orion Dakota. What middle name would you put with Maude for a little girl? We already have the ideas of Maude Shelby(my first name but not sure it flows well) and Maude Nicole(my middle name). We love Maude, and frankly we really dislike Matilda. We know Maude is kinda a variant of Matilda but they are completely different names to us. Sorry that it isn’t your style but thank you for suggesting middle names anyways. We like Maude Olivia, Maude Emmeline, and Maude Vivian. Thanks! ~Shelby&Dakota

I’m a little biased, I have a Shelby of my own and just find the name perfect!
Maude Shelby isn’t bad at all and I like that it honors you.

Dakota just isn’t a big fan of the flow of Maude Shelby. That’s why we also had Maude Nicole and we also liked Maude Nicola and Maude Nicolette because my middle name is Nicole. We also like Maude Adelaide. Thanks! ~Shelby&Dakota

I have to agree with Dakota, although Shelby Maude would be cool but I know you can’t use it!
Maude Adelaide is nice as well.

Maude Nicolette is the prettiest of the options above.

I have a relative named Hazel-Maude ~complete with the hyphen~ born between 1900-1910. When I first saw her name, I thought it was odd. After a while it grew on me!

Although I love the name Shelby,I don’t think it or Nicole works with the style of Maude at all.
Maude needs to be paired with something vintage.
