Allison Lucy vs. Alison Lucy vs. Alyson Lucy
My husband and I both love the name Allison/Alison/Alyson with the nickname Allie/Ally but it’s a tradition in my family for the oldest daughter to have her mothers name as her middle name and in afraid my name,Lucy doesn’t flow well with the first name we love. Wdyt should we keep the name we love or find a different name that flows better with Lucy?

You could always alter tradition a little: Allison Lucille would be cute as well.

Here’s the thing: middle names are used so infrequently, it doesn’t really matter if they "flow" perfectly. I personally think Allison Lucy sounds fine. If you want to stick to tradition, don’t give up a lovely name like Allison, that you love, to do so.
