Elijah Asher vs. ??
I love both of these names, and I want your opinion. I’m highly considering using them as a combination, because I LOVE the Bible story of Elijah, and I love the meaning of Asher. It means, "happy, blessed, and fortunate". For those of you curious, and don’t know the Bible story of Elijah, you can just google it! Thanks ladies for your opinions, and Happy Easter!! #heisrisen!

not a fan of bible association at all, but just looked up the story and would not want a childs name associated with that story personally, so not a fan at all due to association. like the name elijah for its sound though, dislike asher sounds trendy

Asher is trendy. Also just recently found out that it too, is a bible name. Only mentioned in passings pretty much, like once or twice. I just love the meaning of it. OP.

I like it. Asher isn’t a major Bible character, but he did found one of the twelve tribes of Israel and as a group they are pretty important to the Old Testament. There are several interesting stories about Elijah, but I think he’s a great role model.
