My name is Deanna pronounced (Deena) my mom read it as (Dean-na). But everyone says (DeAnna). My dad is from Italy where (Dina) is used but he had no clue how to spell it in English. I don’t mind the name Deena or Dina, but I hate being called DeAnna - really dislike it. I have considered legally changing the spelling because I’m in real estate and when someone is calling the office they ask for DeAnna and my business is being forwarded to someone else with the same name, same spelling different pronoucation. It’s frustrating. I have no middle name to use either.
