I don’t like the name Jimmy AT ALL! Jimmy is SO outdated, boring, and plain sounding IMO. Jamie or Jay would be WAY better!

I didn’t ask your opinion on the name and I really don’t care at all what you think! Jamie is so popular for girls and I hate it. All I asked for was opinion on the spelling. I hate Jay too. I love Jimmy and thats all that matters!

I think Jimmy is great. Jimmy Stewart, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Neutron =), Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimball. Love Jimmy no matter how it is spelled. GL

This is an OPINION site, and I can give my opinion freely! Take it or leave without being rude. You open yourself up to both positive AND negative feedback when you post a poll. If you don’t care what people think, then don’t ask! Call your kid Jimmy if that’s what you love, and spell it traditionally!

my husband is Jimmy. He hates all other spellings except this way-Jimmy. He says the other ways are to feminine. And, he hates hates hates Jamie. To girly he says. good luck.

your husband is a smart man. I love the name. always have for some reason and i’m young so I don’t know why I don’t think it is outdated at all. I have ZERO guys named James in my family and everyone else has a few. I hear people talk about their Uncle Jimmy, brother Jimmy, dad Jimmy, and I’ve just always loved it for some reason. All the guys I have met named Jimmy were cool so maybe thats why...don’t know. Thanks for ALL of your comments!
