Kaiden vs. Kyden vs. nickname is kai
I want my son to have a full name for the nickname Kai. I hate Kaiser and can’t use kyle or kyler. I came across kyden and think it’s cute. I want it to be Kai though not KY. But I’m worried with kaiden people will think his name is kayden. Which I don’t like. Any ideas?

I would assume Kaiden was Kay-den. Maybe Malakai? Or Kailand? Good luck!

I think Kai can be a full name on its own. I know of one person named Kai. In Hawaiian, "kai" means ocean. GL!

I like malakai that is cute but not 100% on ghat spelling. Also kinda biblical for my taste. I love kai but on its own ots so short and our last name is short. I want to to be fuller. I kinda like kailand never heard that before but its cute.

I agree I would assume Kayden as the pronunciation. Kai would work great on its own or I love the suggestion of Malachi. I wouldn’t misspell it though - the nickname doesn’t have to match exactly. Alternatively just name him anything that starts with K and call him Kai. It’s just a nickname it doesn’t matter. GL!
