Jophiel ? vs. Yes vs. No

My family is very big on guardian angels and biblical stuff, so I kinda wanted to name my child that. Well turns out me and my husband have the same Guardian angel name and its Jophiel. But does it sound too...I dare say odd? So please put your ideas and thoughts down or vote...or both...Thanks!- Andi

I think it does sound too odd. Also, nobody will ever be able to spell or pronounce it and your child will forever be spelling, respelling, pronouncing, re-pronouncing and correcting people. The name might have a nice meaning, but it won’t matter when it’s getting butchered all the time.

I know it’s the name of a Gaurdian Angel but Jophiel just looks and sounds like you mashed up Joseph, Sophie, and Elle to be "creative" and make your daughter/son stand out. Not a good idea. Use a different biblical name.
