Maelie vs. Maelys vs. Maelys pronunciation?

I love the rare name Maelie, but I feel like it sounds too much like it is a diminutive (nick-name) but it’s not. Maelys is another variation, but I’m unsure of how you would pronounce it. What do you think? Maelie or Maelys? and how would you pronounce Maelys? Thanks :)

I would say may-liss but may-liese is very pretty. Maely makes it seem less nicknamey to me. Love the name
