First name for vs. Grey(girl)

Hi so we are expecting and have decided to use the middle name Grey for a girl. I really want to use it as a first name but am willing settle on using it as a middle name if we find the right first name. We want name suggestions that are uncommon, spunky, and will age well. My husband really likes unisex names but I think with the middle name being Grey it will come off too masculine. Please help us out and suggest names. Thank you!-Rory and Heath

I think grey is better left to the boys.
Lavender or Amber is a cool middle name for a girl

Why is Grey better left to the boys? Colors don’t discriminate? Lol

Well: Violet, Rose, Scarlett, Ruby... No one’s going say that those colours don’t discriminate. Can you imagine what would happen if someone wanted to name their son Ruby? No one would say ’colours don’t discriminate’ then.

But as it happens, I think Grey is fine either way. Not my style at all, but not awful (also I think Ruby would be quite cool on a boy).

(Grey as a first name sort of sounds like a description, like how Chase as a first name always sounds like an order)

We like Dana, Quinn, Lana, and Carson for first names. and Gracen for a first name. -Rory and Heath

Gracen is not good for a girl’s first name.
I can’t imagine what teachers will be going through in the next few years having to differentiate between all of the children named Grayson/Greyson/Gracen/Gray/Grey.

I see the post above.
Do you mean, "and Gracen for a middle name"?

Lana Grace(n) or Dana Grace(n) are pretty combinations.
Quinn and Carson don’t flow well with Gracen, though.

We liked Gracen as a first name only but Dana or Lana Gracen I like. Quinn and Carson would have Grey as a middle name not Gracen. -Rory
