Sadie vs. Zadie

I love Sadie and I was sure I was going to use this name, then I stumbled upon Zadie and it sounds super cool... any opinions?

Sadie is very pretty! Zadie looks and sounds awful, sorry. I honestly can’t picture a grown woman with a career like being a lawyer or something like that with the name Zadie. It reminds me too much of "ziti" you know like "baked ziti". And it kinda sounds like a name a pole dancer or stripper would pick for her stage name. Not very nice. Definitely stick with Sadie.

Zadie gmv, but only if it’s a nickname (Zara, Zaida, Isadora, Desirée, Rosalind, Zinaida, Mercedes, Sheherazade, etc.)

Sadie is darling and I prefer it as a nickname (Sara(h), Sinéad, Mercedes, Isadora, Mirsada, etc.). But it can stand on its own better than Zadie. Someone named Zadie will be asked about their name a lot and having a full name like Isadora in their back pocket is handy. Good luck! :0)

I LOVE Zadie. I have a thing about Z names for girls. Sadie is cute. But Zadie, I find stunning. Same goes for Sara vs Zara. Definitely Zadie!

Zadie is not stunning in any way to me. It does kinda sound like the kind of name that a stripper would choose to go by, sorry. Sadie is very pretty though, stick with it.

I am Zadie and I am a lawyer. I prefer my name with Z or maybe is just hat I am used to it. Zadie to me is much more beautiful and unique.
