First commenter, we prefer the Eliana spelling because the double Ns name it look like it is pronoucned "ellie-anna" to us instead of "ellie-ahna" and we definitely want the latter pronunciation.

I have a niece named Eliana Celeste! Everyone absolutely adores her name, sometimes she goes by Ana but mostly the family just uses her name without nicknames. It’s such a beautiful name and has a very princessy vibe to it! Good luck!

I LOVE Eliana, partly for the sound and partly for the meaning. It’s a name we were considering for our daughter 4 yrs ago. But since I’d never heard the name before, I thought it might be too obscure (wrong! I’ve heard the name many times since then!) Also, I don’t care for the nickname Ellie, though I love Ana. So ultimately we chose a different name. But, I have always loved it! Since it’s too close to the name we did use, I’ve thought about using it for a middle name if we ever have another girl. Oh, and I’m with you on the spelling with one N. It clarifies pronunciation. I’ve also seen it with two L’s which I guess makes sense if you plan on calling her Ellie a lot of the time. But I like Eliana slightly better.
