The name itself isn’t bad but that spelling doesn’t make sense, nobody will be able to pronounce it. I know a girl who’s daughter middle name is pronounced the exact same and it’s spelt Janae... Looks nicer and will be easier to pronounce with that spelling

I think it would be more trouble than it’s worth. She will have to spell out and pronounce her name for everyone, and even then people will still get it wrong. Not a pretty enough name for the trouble it’s going to cause her.

I like the pronounciation but not the spelling. I prefer Janay or Janae. If you want something different, I think Janee or Janai is nice.

I would have never gotten that pronunciation from Jhene. In fact, Jhene looked to me like "juh-heen". Janae would work well.

The name itself it great. However, the spelling doesn’t fit. As someone who works in education, with this spelling, they will constantly be correcting people and having to tell people how to pronounce their name. What about Janae?

When I first saw it, I thought it was pronounced "Jenny".

Actually I disagree even with the English teacher...we are probably going to name out daughter this and if spelled Jhene' with the ' at the end then espically a teacher should know how to pronounce it...it also have Japanese decent that means little love one or skirt decent that translates to gift from God...ur child if you like the spelling it is spelt how it sounds espically if you put ' at the end! I think its beautiful...even how it is spelt!

I love it! I will literally name my daughter Jhené as well, as it's such a different special name. So what if it's difficult for people to spell it? Perhaps my daughter will grow up in Japan or Africa where people know how to spell.
