Eliza Marie vs. Eliza Joy

My partner and I are expecting a baby girl( surrogacy) and love the name Eliza but we are stuck on a middle name, Marie is my mom and my partners moms middle names and Joy is because we are so happy and excited to be able to have a child. We wanted her to have a shorter name since she will have both of our last names. Thank you, Curtis & Andrew

Congratulations!! I love the name Eliza; it’s elegant, but also spunky. I think Eliza Marie and Eliza Joy sound equally pretty, so maybe you should choose based on whichever one sounds best with your last names? Good luck :)

I adore the name Eliza and I really love Eliza Marie. I voted for Eliza Marie because of the very special meaning it holds and also because it sounds very cute.

Marie gmv because it would be so sweet after her grandmothers. Joy is great as well. You could do a double firstname Eliza Joy Marie...
