Erica vs. nickname?
I love the name Erica but my one reservation is that it doesn’t have any obvious nickname choices like our other kids (Rosalie ’Rosa’ and Fletcher ’Fletch’). What do you think? Does it matter?

I don’t think it matters, as long as you love the name! If you really wanted a nickname, I could see ’Er’ as a cute nickname!

I don’t think it matters. Nicknames tend to form naturally anyway, so she may end up receiving a nickname not at all related to her name. Also, I have a nickname for my full name, and my brother does not. It has never caused any resentment or anything of that nature.
