If you will go by Sophie, then yes, it’s a bit funny. Otherwise, Sofia is okay.

I love Sophia too, but it is a bit popular. I t makes a great middle name. I agree, stick with Sophia, not Sophie. Consider also:

Jane Sophia
Emily Sophia
Molly Sophia
Margaret (Maggie) Sophia
Anne or Anna Sophia
