Jessie ? vs. Jess ?

I want to call my daughter Jessie but i want it to be a nn not her name..any ideas on a name that can use this as nn...also need middle name ideas..on more question I have an ex-fience who was named Jesse is it a bad idea to want to call my daughter that..?? Thanks for your help..

I love the name Jessalyn. You can call her either nn, or even Jessa. So cute!! I don’t think call her Jessie is a problem, if you don’t mind. It’s your child, call her whatever you want. GL!

i really like the name and i prefer the spelling Jesse even for a girl but you can’t use that, i think it would be silly to name her practically the same name as your ex especially as you were engaged, what does your current partner have to say about that?! if her father doesn’t mind then it’s fine, what about

you can try first/middle names of ppl in your family.

you can have the mn start with a J also. A mn starting with an S, L, and starting or ending with an N would also go with Jessalyn. Depends what the last name is i guess

Well the last name is Duncan...my whole family has named their 1st born daughter with the middle name Lynn

I didn’t...I broke the mold my neice is planning to name her daughter Hope Lynn which was my sister who passed away at the age of 12 so I really don’t want to do the middle name after family..Jessalyn Nicole is cute..

What about Jesselyn is that still an okay spelling of the name..cause here sisters nn is Dessa and Dessa and Jessa is a bit much..
