I have a cousins named Tyron but it is pronounced Tie-ron. I personally like the Tyrone spelling better because its easier. Good luck!

It’s OK. I’ve only ever heard the Tie-rone pronunciation, though.

to get the prn tie-rown you must spell it Tyrone, rules of English only give you that long O with the silent E. It’s in fact an Irish name, from the Irish Gaelic Tir Eoghain meaning "land of the yew tree." The most famous person with the name was Tyrone Power and it worked just fine for him
