Full Name vs. For The vs. Nickname Lane

If you are OK with the full name not having the same vowel sound, your options increase. How about:

Alan, Declan, Erland ("EHR-lund," = foreigner), Harlan (= hare land), Lachlan (= lake land), Leland (= fallow land), Maitland, Nolan, Roland, Stellan (= calm).

Lane is a full name. Lane Carson. No need to make it longer just to make it longer and call him Lane anyway.

I like it as a full name for a boy actually. Here are some I like that I think would work... (some are repeats I saw in comments that I loved!)

Lancelot (a bit out there for some but I find it very poetic and handsome)
