Faith or Hope as a middle name for Elizabeth? I say Elizabeth Faith, DH says Elizabeth Hope. I say shorten it to Beth or Eliza, he says shorten it to Liz or Lizzie. Heeeellllllpppp!!!!

I’m not a big fan of Liz or Lizzie - why not just call her Elizabeth, no nn? I like Elizabeth Faith!

I like the nn’s Lizzie or Liz. It depends on your last name for what middle name I would go with.

I love both Elizabeth Faith and Elizabeth Hope and adore the nickname Eliza. Perhaps he will let you call her Eliza if you use the middle name Hope.

I like Eliza as a fn too so. . . you could name her Eliza Hope or Eliza Faith. Then she can be called both Eliza & Liz.

I defintely think Liz is the best nickname. I don’t like Eliza at all and Beth works better for Bethany. As for the middle name, I like them both, but like everyone said it depends on what flows better with your last name.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have put to him the suggestion of calling her Elizabeth Hope and letting me call her Eliza, and he agrees, as long as nobody comes up with a better solution. If you can, will you please tell me? She is due in 2 weeks!
