They don’t flow well together and your son will not feel any uniqueness because he won’t have his own name. And both are a bit outdated.

Do you have suggestions? I don’t know what to do. We won’t have any more kids after this one, so I can’t just keep it for later.

I like samuel -you could just give him the h initial and no middle name - h standing for both fathers but i like samuel hugh howard, it’s long but most people don’t use mn’s and many people give their kids 3 names so it’s not unheard of...gl
