Isn’t that a name from like the lion king 2.... simbs son? Or something??

Kids still watch the Lion King movies. I got the Kovu reference immediately and I’m sure others will, too. Not that he’s a bad character or anything. I actually think he’s one of the more interesting one in the entire set of movies.

I think it’s a bit out there to use. But if you do, give him a more standard name. There are plenty of standard names that aren’t terribly popular.

Honestly reminds me of tofu. If you are looking for a Lion King reference I might use Kion over Kovu.

We aren’t wanting a lion king reference, we just heard the name on lion king and fell in love with it. We love the name, even if it is out there, and we won’t be changing it. It doesn’t matter to us that it’s associated with the lion king. We love Kovu Pierce thanks a lot! (And we are trying to give him a more common middle name just nothing too popular)
