I love this name (SHON-uh) but I don’t know which way to spell it. I know that I will probably either spell it Shawna or Shauna but I thought I’d throw in Seana just to see what you guys would think.

How about Shona, pn Show-na or Sheena.
Seana could be pn Seena so I wouldn’t choose that one.
Shawna, pn Shaw-na would be nice. If you want Shon-ah I would spell it Shonna.

Agree with Poster 1. I once knew a lady named Shauna, and people would mispronounce her name all the time. Once she told me that she sometimes wished she spelled her name a different way. For those reasons, I prefer Shawna. It’s easy to spell, say, and remember. It’s also prettier than the others in my opinion.
