Twin sisters for vs. Luella Maeve

My husband and I have a little girl named Luella Maeve "Ella". Her names are a combination of our mothers and two of our grandmothers (Lucy, Ellen, May, and Evelyn). Luella is not only getting one little sister, but two! However, we’re kind of lost on their names. We already used four names of very important people in our lives, but there are only two first names (Pearl and Gwyneth) we could use this time around. Would it be okay to just use one honorable name in each of our daughter’s name? If so, we could use first or middle names paired with Pearl and Gwyneth/forms of these names! We like nicknames too. Thank you! ~Claire, Ryan, Ella and little girls

Love Pearl as a first name! Honestly, you can probably use variations of the names in Luella’s name, as well, for these little girls.

Pearl Eloise & Adelyn Gwyneth
Pearl Elisabeth & Wynne Catherine

I think Margaret means Pearl, and Jennifer and Gwyneth have the meaning of fair; just an idea if you want to use a same meaning of a name.

Good luck.

On your other polls you said you wanted to name your daughter Llewella (this spelling) and it was after some male relative that was named Llewellyn. Now it’s twins and you’ve changed the spelling but the middle names are al ironically names suggested in the previous polls. And you commented that you specifically liked these names. Also, Claire was suggested on the other poll and on here YOU are "Claire".

Stop with the fake polls on here people! I for one am tired of it...

Of course it’s OK to use one honoring name in each twin’s combination. You can do what you like. Your daughters will still get beautiful names that honor loved ones. Win win.

Are you asking for suggestions with Pearl and Gwyneth? Marion Pearl and Vera Gwyneth? Good luck! :0)

Thank you! If we were to use Pearl, we would probably use it as a middle name. We are not a huge fan of both names in general, so we were hoping for alternates or first name suggestions. We do like the idea of the same meaning names, but not sure if that holds as much sediments value. I’m not sure we’d want to honor the same four woman again. Adelyn and Wynne are nice. I forgot to mention Pearl’s middle name is Adelaide and Gwyneth’s is Caroline. Would variations of those work better? ~Claire

*** I’m not the same person in the other poll. It just happens that we like the same names. They are beautiful names.

Marion, Vera, Delilah, Gwendolyn and Guinevere are beautiful! Thank you! -Claire

Love Adelaide and Caroline!

Adelaide Wynne & Caroline Pearl to mix the names together.

Thank you for all the great suggestions! Adela/Adele are adorable, but very similar to Luella to be a first name. Alida is very intriguing, as well as Carlotta and Lotta. Thanks again! ~Claire
