Zachary type vs. female names

What do you all think of the name Zakaria, and would it be weird for me to use it, if my brother has a daughter named Zakaria and she goes by Kari... A friend of mine died in iraq and I was hoping to use a version of his name (Zachary) for my daughters name to honor him. - AJ

so your daughter and you neice will have the same name? I guess I am a little confused. If it is your neices name go with a different version if it isn’t then I like the name Zakaria
