Emmanuelle vs. Emmanuella vs. Just Emma or Ella
Hi everyone. My husband and I are expecting our first child,a little girl! A name we have been thinking about is Emanuelle or Emanuella,her nickname would be
Ella or Emma most of the time. What do you think of Emmanuelle or Emmanuella? My husband really loves either choice,but I’m on the fence,I might prefer something a little more simple like Emma or Ella. I think the meaning is beautiful,it’s just kind of a mouthful.Is it too much? Which do you prefer? Thanks so much!

It’s pretty. My friend gave all her sons the middle name Emmanuel, to always remind them in life that God was with them.

It’s pretty, but I don’t think it goes well with your last name. Perhaps something in between those and Ella/Emma? Emmeline nn Emma or Eliana nn Ella? Good luck!

With your surname, I like Emmanuelle best. Emmanuella Lund sounds a bit like Emmanuelle Lulund, if that makes sense. I would definitely use one of these, though, with Emma and Ella being so popular. I am related to three Emmas and live next door to another. I know several Ellas too. Give her something more unique.
