Feminine vs. Form of vs. Gordon

I'd like to name my daughter after my dad whose name is Gordon but I don't like the name especially for a girl. Any ideas?

I think Gordana is about the only option. What about your dad's middle name? Maybe that can be feminized more easily.

Or you could use Gordana as this child's middle name.

I believe Giordana is pronounced jor-DAWN-ah or jor-DAH-na, depending on a person's accent.

Giordana is basically just the Italian spelling of Jordana. Like Julia and Giulia. Pronounced about the same but spelled differently.

What about using "don" such as in Donna?

Giordana is quite nice, unfortunately Gordon has no specific feminine version, so that seems pretty close, sound wise. The only feminine name that has a meaning that even comes close to Gordon is Demelza.
