Bea "bee-uh" vs. Beah "bee-uh" vs. Bia "bee-uh"
Well now I'm just confused! If you haven't seen my previous posts, my husband and I fell in love with Bea, but we thought it was pronounced "bee-uh" we don't like "bee." people on our first poll recommended spelling it as Beah or Bia, but then on our second post, most people said to keep the spelling as Bea. We really do love this name but if it really wont work, we are open (although reluctant) to scraping it all together. thanks again!
The Top Baby Name is...
Bea "bee-uh"
Beah "bee-uh"
Bia "bee-uh"

Bea can be bee or bee-uh, there's no set rule on how to say it, people are just used to associating it with bee.
Go for Bea if you really love it. I prefer it pronounced bee-uh anyway

If you want it said bee-uh, definitely don't spell it Bea. You may even still get pronunciation issues with Beah though. Bia is your best bet but it just doesn't look very nice to me.

Most will say Bee if you spell it Bea. So why have to correct people your whole life?

The poster knows that Bea is commonly pronounced 'Bee'! But on her last poll people said she should use the spelling Bea anyway and just correct people to 'Bee-ah'.
I would go for Bia, I think it still looks pretty and will definitely be said correctly - far less hassle for her and you!

If people know it's bee-uh (Bea) e.g her friends, your friends, family, teachers etc the only people that will mispronounce it are people who read it before hearing it

I love the name Bria prn Bree-ah, so Bia makes a lot of sense to me. I would definitely say Bea as Bee, and Beah just looks a little strange to me.

I doubt you will find many people who will pronounce Bea as bee-uh. Beah maybe since it looks like a typo of Leah. Bia more likely since it looks like Lia and Mia and the car maker Kia.

There's Brea which is pronounced the same way, lovely Irish name, you're taking away the 'r' so it's still completely fine you pronouncing Bea bee-uh

Bia would be the one most likely to get the pronunciation you're wanting. I think the name (either spelling/pronunciation) sounds more like a nickname. Perhaps as a middle name? I do like Bria as well. Other suggestions...

Bea is bee. Plain and simple. Usually a nickname fore Beatrix or Beatrice.
Bea rhymes with sea and it's just changing one letter. We don't say see-ah

It's all down to personal preference of how we want to pronounce it. Pronouncing it bee-uh isn't wrong, just different.
