Dorothy nn Dottie Quinn vs. Thea vs. Rory

I did a poll the other day on whether we should use the name Dorothy with the nickname Dottie for our baby girl. The majority ruled yes but one poster suggested we use the nickname Thea, Rory or Dora (which makes us think too much of Dora the explorer):) but we like Thea and Rory. Which nickname do you like best? We are not asking if you like the name Dorothy as we have decided to go with it, so it stays. Thanks! ~Quinn

I really like Dottie, I think it's cute and spunky and I like that it's less common than Thea and Rory. GL

I don't think Thea works for Dorothy as it's not Dorthea it's dor-thee. Rory is cute but I too like Dottie best for it's originality.

I love Dorothy Quinn! Dottie and Rory are both great nicknames. I think I like Dottie a bit more though. GL
