Briony vs. pronounced Bryan-ee vs. pronounced bree AH-NY
Hi folks. This is just a hypothetical poll for right now. I'm purely here asking for ideas for the future. I've been liking this name Briony for a few years now. My only concern is how to pronounce it. I don't really care for bryan-ee because it just sounds like a migraine to me but I also don't want to say bree-AHNY if that's just straight-up wrong. What do you think it should be? The middle name would probably be something super girly such as Giselle, Angelina; or something Hebrew/Jewish like Rivka or Talia because that's what my family is. Anways, thanks for the help!

I've never heard Briony pronounced any other way than bry-un-nee.

A bryony is a flower. Since it's an actual word then I would only pronounce and spell the name the same way. "BRIE-uh-nee," which to my ears does sound like Brian + "ee."
