You have no doubt picked the name of your baby by now, but we named our daughter Aftyn Kate. We picked the -yn spelling, which seemed more feminine. We love it, but reactions are definitely a mixed bag. I think it grows on people. What did you end up going with?

i named my daughter afton willow people immediatley come to the conclusion that I’m a tree hugger and i did indeed name from inspiration of nature but most people think its a beautiful name and it really doesnt matter what other people its how you feel about the name.

My name is Afton, and my parents kind of went the Scottish/ Gaelic route with the middle name (there’s a river in Scotland called Afton, and a song about it) but my middle name is Faithlean, pronounced "Fallon".
