Do you pronounced Leonora and Leanora the same way? I really like nickname Leo but I prefer the Leanora spelling (pronounciation?). Could I go with Leanora and call her Leo? Or what about Nora?

The Leonora I know (2-3 years old) is Nora. Leo would be a possibility, obviously, but if you wanted to insist on it, maybe consider Leona?

I pronounce Leonora "lay-oh-no-rah" and Leanora "lay-ah-no-rah" so slightly different. I dislike the nickname Leo for either it's very masculine sounding and I can't seeing it working as a girl name. Lea would be cute though.

There is no difference in the pronunciation but the only difference is that Leanora is actually a misspelling which many people don't know about.
