Arlo vs. Arlow
We really like the name Arlo / Arlow for a baby girl. We posted the other day asking for opinions and we got mixed reviews. We have decided to go with it as we love it so much. Another option we are considering is Harlow but we aren't sure yet. Thank you all

I think if you do use the name, spell it Arlo. Arlow looks awkward and like you just missed a letter at the beginning. I've seen Marlow and Harlow. I personally think Marlo is a nicer name for a girl.

Harlow would be a lot better. My son's name is Arlo so it is all masculine to me. But I know a little girl name Harlowe and the name fits her nicely.

I very much like Arlow on a girl. I feel this spelling is a little bit more girly than Arlo. There's also Arden or Arwen that are more used on girls, but I love Harlow too.

Harlow only. Arlo is awful for a girl and butchering spelling only makes it worse, especially for the one who has to live with hearing people misspell it her whole life.

I can't really see Arlo on a girl. Sorry. I know a Marlowe, called Marley, and Marlo Cruz is a female character on a TV show, so that's feminine to me. Harlow makes me think of Harley bikes so definitely the opposite of feminine IMO!

I've met an boy Arlow so it ruins that spelling for me. Arlo is very cute. Don't do Harlow. Harley is better. I have a friend named Harley and I call her Harlo as a nickname. I think Arlo is a great spelling/name.
