Aidan vs. Jake

Hi, I made this poll earlier and then decided to mix them together to make Jayden but I’m now having 2nd thoughts. Which do you think is better Jake or Aidan. Can you think of any more names? I also like Logan.

I don’t like Jayden at all! I love Aidan. As far as Jake, I would go with Jacob and use Jake as a nickname. I like Jacob better than Aidan because it’s less popular.

I think Aidan is a nice name that is very masculine. Jake is a good nickname but I prefer it that way..Logan is my pick because Aidan is too popular (with all the Variations) and Jake is a nickname.

i like Jake better than Aidan, Jayden or Logan because they’re all too popular and too trendy, Aidan is a nice name but it’s been very overused lately, i love Jake as a name on it’s own and also as a nn for Jacob, do you like

Aiden and Logan are great. Lose the name Jake, he sounds prison bound.

Parker is ok and I have a friend considering that name. I am considering the name Tristan for my son and was thinking Aiden also. Do you like Tristan?

If you take a name you like and then imagine that you’re being introduced to a man by that name for a blind date, what would the name make you think of him? I think Tristan sounds week, Emerson sounds intriguing, Ryan sounds adventurous, Parker sounds like a suit, Aidan sounds like he’s been babied too long by his mama, and Ogden sounds pompous. I think Jake sounds like a fun loving guy, but maybe not fully mature.

Well, dont you think these names are a little too thought out? Its not going to matter what each name sounds like, I mean Tristan sounding weak? Where do you come up with this stuff? Just name it what you like, if its Parker, Jake, Aidan, or Logan. Which name stands out the most and you cant get out of your head? A name you would enjoy calling your son. GL!

I’m not a fan of Jake; it’s too much of a nn to me. Jacob, nn Jake would be fine.

Aidan in all it’s variations is one of the most popular names out there for a boy, and apparently some people are trying to make it unisex by using it for their daughters. I’d rethink the names.

I only like Parker for a middle name. What about Cooper or Hunter? As for Jake, I think it’s a fine name. Much more masculine sounding than Aidan. Jake Parker or Ryan Parker are both nice.
